An Australian-Moroccan producer, multi-instrumentalist, and composer, Julian bridges ancestral folkloric traditions with contemporary production. As a Kamele Ngoni player and drummer, his sound is deeply rooted in the spiritual and rhythmic foundations of Desert Bluse ,Gnawa, Bambmana , Takamba, and Wassoulou music, seamlessly woven together with dub and reggae-inspired production.

Over the past years, Julian has toured and recorded extensively throughout Morocco and Mali,Australia and Canada collaborating with master musicians and cultural custodians from the region. His music honours tradition while pushing it forward — creating a sound that is both timeless and unmistakably modern.

His critically acclaimed debut album Babdoukkala is available now on all major platforms.

His forthcoming album, The Golden Light, recorded in Mali and Morocco with some of the region’s most revered masters, will be released soon.
